Saturday September 17th, 5:00-10:00 pm at the Buell Theatre located at 14th and Curtis Street in the Arts Complex, Denver.

Supernova returns to the Arts Complex for the first time since 2019 for an exciting immersive arts activation that brings a temporary LED screen into the Buell Theatre as the anchor for an evening of digital visual bliss, casual fun, and live performances. Central to the event is an indoor LED display that will present a snapshot of Supernova’s prestigious programming, including the festival’s expansive Colorado Artist Spotlight. Performances by Beatie Wolfe, multidisciplinary artist and disruptor Gregg Deal, Brooklyn video collective Vidkidz (founded by CU Boulder alumni Melanie Clemmons and Zak Lloyd) and Soul Tangler (aka Ryan Wurst) will intersect with the screen that evening, presenting a wide range of soundscapes to pair with captivating visuals. Denver Digerati associate and NYC based animator extraordinaire Faiyaz Jafri will be in town to deliver his latest inspirational presentation “Art is suffering, and that’s okay.” Additional installations will bring motion-art and light for deep contemplation within the expanse of the Buell, courtesy of artists Wurst, Clemmons and Lloyd.

Saturday September 17th, Noon-8:00 pm across six public LED screens in downtown Denver.

Silent Screen is an exclusive opportunity for artists to create animations for public exhibition presented across six different outdoor LED screens as part of 7th Dimension. International artist and activist Beatie Wolfe serves as our Silent Screen guest curator in 2022 with the theme: Activating Environmental Awareness. This event is supported by The Denver Theatre District, Orange Barrel Media, Branded Cities and UAC. Learn more about the artist lineup and walking tour HERE.
