Supernova 7th Dimension Solo Spotlight Artist Yaloo

Animations presented for Silent Screen 2022

South Korean artist Yaloo presented works looping throughout the day across all six of Supernova 7th Dimension’s public LED screens as the lead for our annual Silent Screen presentation, our initiative allowing artists from around the world to create animations specific to non-traditional formats, with the goal of leveraging digital aesthetics to catch the attention of the public in diverse ways through purely visual means.

Yaloo crafted works specific to each screen from a collection of her recent animations, telling a multi-chapter visual story for the public to embrace in a distinct, downtown setting. The samples here are from our documentation of the presentation, which took place on September 17th from noon to 8pm.
