Ryan Wurst

Ryan Wurst is an acclaimed Transmedia artist who received his PhD in Intermedia Arts Writing and Performance at the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2019, having previously achieved an MFA in Experimental and Media Arts from the University of Minnesota, and a BM in music composition from UC Boulder. His work has been presented in Beijing, New York City, Zagreb, Belgrade, Minneapolis, Boulder as well as Denver, where he was awarded in the 2018 Supernova Festival competition program for his animation "Don't Make Out." In addition to his many personal projects, Wurst curates and manages the progressive record label "Always Human Tapes." In 2019 Wurst accepted a position as a Professor of Digital and Electronic Art at Florida Southwestern State College in Fort Myers, FL, where he was been tasked with developing the school’s first digital art program. He is currently an Assistant Professor at CSU Pueblo in the department of Media and Entertainment.
